The following symptoms are not expected:
Crestor works by reducing the amount of cholesterol that your body makes and sends signals to your pituitary gland that your cholesterol is low and your heart is pumping.
This is called Statin Inhibitors. They block the production of cholesterol in your liver. Without it, your liver is unable to make enough cholesterol to keep up with your body’s needs. Your liver produces less cholesterol than it used to, so your heart beat more often and your liver is pumping more cholesterol than it used to. Your pituitary gland does not make enough cholesterol, so your heart beat more often and your liver is pumping more cholesterol than it used to.
Crestor can lower your cholesterol. If you have high cholesterol or if you are overweight, your doctor may prescribe a low dose statin like Atorvastatin, Crestor, or simvastatin. They will lower your LDL (bad) cholesterol and triglycerides (good) cholesterol.
The best way to avoid Crestor is to take it with a low-calorie meal, such as a low-fat snack.
Be sure to drink a lot of water while you are taking Crestor. Drink more water while you take Crestor and for at least six months after stopping Crestor to reduce the amount of cholesterol your body makes. Drinking enough water to drink can lower your LDL cholesterol and triglycerides. Drinking enough water to drink a lot of water can also help lower your cholesterol.
If you take Crestor in combination with diet and exercise, you may lower your cholesterol levels by drinking more water and eating more fat. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.
Crestor may be taken with or without food.
If you miss a dose of Crestor, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take two doses at once.
